BEIJING, May 30 (Xinhua) -- China's top legislator Wu Bangguo returned to Beijing Wednesday morning after concluding his official goodwill visits to the Netherlands, Croatia, Luxembourg and Spain.

Wu, chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), visited the respective countries at the invitation of presidents of Dutch First and Second Chamber of parliament, Fred de Graaf and Gerdi Verbeet, Speaker of the Croatian Parliament Boris Sprem, President of the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg Laurent Mosar, and President of the Spanish Congress Jesus Posada.
