China National People's Congress (NPC) was ready to further exchanges with the National Assembly of Guinea on legislation, democracy and legal construction, said China's top legislator Wu Bangguo on Monday.
"The NPC attaches importance to the relations with the Guinean National Assembly that would contribute to the all-round development of the relations between China and Guinea," said Wu, NPC Standing Committee chairman.
Wu told visiting Aboubacar Sompare, the National Assembly of Guinea speaker, that China and Guinea had enjoyed trusted political relations and fruitful cooperation over the past decades.
Hailing the close coordination in international affairs, he expressed gratitude for the support of Guinea to China on the Taiwan and Tibet issues.
He hoped the two countries take the 50th anniversary of the bilateral ties next year to enhance exchanges and cooperation.
