全国人大常委会办公厅拟于12月29日（星期六）上午10：30在人民大会堂台湾厅举行新闻发布会，欢迎中外记者参加。

2007年12月23日至29日，十届全国人大常委会第三十一次会议将继续审议禁毒法草案、劳动争议调解仲裁法草案、道路交通安全法修正案草案、科学技术进步法修订草案等法律案。鉴于各方面对这些法律案的意见比较一致，全国人大法律委员会建议本次常委会会议表决通过。如获通过，我们将邀请全国人大常委会有关方面负责人就这些法律的有关问题回答记者提问。

请有意参加的中外记者，于12月28日下午5时前向全国人大常委会办公厅新闻局报名并领取新闻发布会请柬和车证。

 Notice for Press Conference on December 29, 2007

A Press Conference will be held by the General Office of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC) in Taiwan Hall of the Great Hall of the People at 10:30 a.m, December 29, 2007 (Saturday).

Journalists from China and abroad are all welcome.

From December 23 to 29, the 31st Session of the 10th NPC Standing Committee will review four bills including the draft anti-drug law, the draft law on labor dispute mediation and arbitration, the draft amendment to the road traffic safety law and the draft amendment to the law on progress of science and technology. The NPC Law Committee suggests the draft laws be approved through voting by this session of the Standing Committee.

When the drafts are approved, officials from the NPC Standing Committee will be invited to the press conference to answer questions from the press over the laws.

Journalists interested in the press conference may sign up with the Information Bureau of the General Office of the NPC Standing Committee and take invitations and car passes before 17:00 p.m, December 28.

Please show invitations to enter the North Gate of the Great Hall of the People for the press conference, and with the passes, park cars in the parking lot at the North Gate.
