MEXICO CITY, Nov. 27, (Xinhua) -- Mexican senate Vice Chairman Arturo Nunez Jimenez praised Sino-Mexican cooperation here Friday.
Addressing the opening ceremony of a seminar on economy and trade between China and Mexico, Nunez said that he was satisfied with the cooperation between the two countries in politics, economy, culture and tourism.
He said Mexico and China had signed more than 40 cooperative agreements since the establishment of diplomatic relations and that in the future, the two sides would continue to push forward the development of bilateral ties.
Cheng Siwei, chairman of the China-Latin America Association of Friendship, said in his keynote speech at the opening ceremony that China's reform and opening up, which had its own characteristics, had made great achievements, but there were still many problems to be solved.
Cheng, who is also a former vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, called on entrepreneurs from the two countries to enhance cooperation and work together to cope with common problems in the economic field.
