Senior Chinese leader He Guoqiang visited quake-hit Liangping County of Chongqing Municipality on Tuesday morning.
He, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection visited students and local residents injured during Sichuan's 8-magnitude quake last week, at the People's Hospital of Liangping County.
He then arrived at the Wenhua Township of Chongqing's Liangping County and conveyed his condolences to the relatives of quake victims.
