Zhou Tienong, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress, the country's top legislative body, met with a Japanese youth delegation here on Wednesday.

The 30-member delegation, led by Koguchi Hikota, former vice president of Japan's Waseda University, was invited by the All-China Youth Federation to visit China from Sept. 9 to 27.

Beside the capital Beijing, the 18-day tour has also taken delegates to the southern Yunnan Province for a better understanding of the country and people.
