Gu Xiulian, vice-chairwoman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), met here Friday with Maxime Carlot Korman, chairman of the Republican Party of Vanuatu.
Gu said China valued the friendly cooperative relations with Vanuatu, and was ready to increase exchanges and cooperation with Vanuatu in all fields.
Korman said his party firmly adhered to one-China policy, and would make efforts to push for all-round development of Vanuatu-China relations.
Korman was here on a visit to China at the invitation of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee from Jan. 24 to 29.
Korman and Wang Jiarui, head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, exchanged views on party-to-party relations on Friday.
