BEIJING, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- China's top legislature on Tuesday started a bimonthly session, making preparations for the upcoming annual legislative session in March.
During the two-day session, members of the National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee are expected to review the committee's work report in 2018 as well as drafts on the agenda and the presidium and secretary-general name lists of the second annual session of the 13th NPC, scheduled to open on March 5.
Two reports, focusing on pollution control and poverty relief, are also being deliberated at the session.
