Chinese gov't vows to address public complaints to main social stability

Social stability has become a major concern in China as it will be, as a government report says, the most difficult year for China's economic development since the beginning of the century.

"We will improve the early-warning system for social stability to actively prevent and properly handle all types of mass incidents," reads the government work report to be delivered by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao at the annual session of the legislature Thursday.
