The 31st session of the NPC Standing Committee held panel discussion on December 24, 2007 to deliberate the report submitted by the chief executive of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on the outcome of the public consultation on the Green Paper on Constitutional Development of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and on whether to amend the methods for selecting the chief executive and for forming the Legislative Council in 2012.
