Chinese lawmakers on Tuesday voted to remove Zhu Zhigang from his post of director of the budget work committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), the top legislature.
The NPC Standing Committee also decided to endorse Zhu's resignation from his position as a NPC Standing Committee member and a vice director of the NPC Finance and Economy Committee.
