President Hu Jintao of the People's Republic of China announced the appointments and removals from office the following ambassadors to foreign countries in accordance with a decision made by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

(1). Removing from office Liu Xianghua the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Lebanon; appointing Liu Zhiming the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Lebanon.

(2). Removing from office Zhang Chunxiang the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan; appointing Luo Zhaohui the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

(3). Removing from office Ren Jingyu the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Mexico; appointing Yin Hengmin the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Mexico.

(4). Removing from office Liu Yongxing the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the People’s Democratic Republic of Laos; appointing Pan Guangxue the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the People’s Democratic Republic of Laos.

(5). Removing from office Wang Wangsheng the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Algeria; appointing Zhang Shixian the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Algeria.

(6). Removing from office Wei Wenhua the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Mali; appointing Zhang Guoqing the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Mali.

(7). Removing from office Gao Yusheng the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ukraine; appointing Zhou Li the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ukraine.

(8). Removing from office Li Changhua the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Chile; appointing Liu Yuqin the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Chile.

(9). Removing from office Liu Jian the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan; appointing Yang Houlan the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

(10). Removing from office Yang Yanyi the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Brunei; appointing Tong Xiaoling the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Brunei.
