President Hu Jintao of the People's Republic of China announced the appointments and removals from office the following ambassadors to foreign countries, on February 17, 2007 in accordance with a decision made by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:
(1). Removing from office Tian Guangfeng the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Guinea-Bissau; appointing Yan Banghua the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Guinea-Bissau.
(2). Removing from office Yin Hengmin the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Peru; appointing Gao Zhengyue the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Peru.
(3). Removing from office Feng Zhijun the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Burundi; appointing Zeng Xianqi the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Burundi.
(4). Removing from office Li Shuyuan the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Bosnia and Herzegovina; appointing Liu Wenxin the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
(5). Removing from office Zhang Wanxue the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Macedonia; appointing Dong Chunfeng the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Macedonia.
(6). Removing from office Li Manchang the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Montenegro.
(7). Removing from office Li Huaxin the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Iraq; appointing Chen Xiaodong the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Iraq.
(8). Removing from office Zhang Shixian the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Togo; appointing Yang Min the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Togo.
(9). Removing from office Liu Yuqin the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Ecuador; appointing Cai Runguo the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Ecuador.
