Appointments and removals of ambassadors to foreign nations announced by President Hu Jintao
President Hu Jintao of the People's Republic of China announced the appointments and removals from office the following ambassadors to foreign countries, on September 7, 2006 in accordance with a decision made by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

Removing from office Wu Donghe the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea; appointing Liu Xiaoming the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
