President Hu Jintao of the People's Republic of China announced the appointments and removals from office the following ambassadors to foreign countries, on March 2, 2006 in accordance with a decision made by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:
(1). Removing from office Wang Zhiquan the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Trinidad and Tobago; appointing Huang Xing the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Trinidad and Tobago.
(2). Removing from office Gao Yusheng the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Yemen; appointing Luo Xiaoguang the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary toYemen.
(3). Removing from office Xu Mengshui the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Mauritius; appointing Gao Yuchen the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Mauritius.
(4). Removing from office Yoa Peisheng the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ukraine; appointing Gao Yusheng the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ukraine.
(5). Removing from office Huang Yong’an the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Eritrea; appointing Shu Zhan the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Eritrea.
(6). Removing from office Zhang Tuo the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Bolivia; appointing Zhao Wuyi the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Bolivia.
(7). Removing from office Ke Xiaogang the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Argentina; appointing Zhang Tuo the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Argentina.
