Foreign media organizations accredited in China, Embassies and Offices of International Organizations in China,
The 2nd Session of the 12th National People's Congress and the 2nd Session of the 12th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee of the People's Republic of China will open on March 5 and March 3, 2014 in Beijing respectively. Foreign journalists accredited in China who wish to cover the above-mentioned sessions and press officers of foreign embassies who wish to observe the events need to submit applications through the Press Center Registration System(http://www.npc.gov.cn/reportermanager/foreign/foreign.action) before February 24, 2014.
Chinese employees of foreign media organizations need to present their employees' cards or letters of introduction from relevant foreign service authorities and apply online via the same link above.
Foreign journalists abroad are required to submit applications to Chinese embassies, consulates or other visa-issuing institutions authorized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and apply online via the same link above.
The exact time and arrangement of picking up press cards and vehicle passes for the sessions will be released later on the websites of the Press Center of the NPC, the CPPCC and the IPC.
