Senior Chinese legislators leave for Singapore, Samoa

  BEIJING, Jan. 16 (Xinhua) -- Senior legislators from the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislature, left here Saturday afternoon for visits to Singapore and Samoa.

  The delegation, led by Chen Changzhi, vice-chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, will attend the 18th annual meeting of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Forum held in Singapore, as invited by the Singaporean parliament.

  They will also pay a good-will visit to Samoa at the invitation of the legislative assembly of Samoa.
