The 32nd session of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) was expected to convene from Feb. 26 to Feb. 28, according to a proposal of the 74th meeting of the Chairmen Council of the NPC Standing Committee on Friday morning, Feb. 15 at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
Wu Bangguo, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, chaired the meeting.
Proposed by the meeting, the draft amendment to the Water Pollution Prevention and Control Law will be deliberated again during the 32nd session.
