China's annual legislative session to open

    BEIJING, March 5 (Xinhua) -- The annual session of China's top legislature, or the National People's Congress, is scheduled to open at 9 a.m. Thursday in Beijing.

    Premier Li Keqiang will deliver the annual government work report to nearly 3,000 legislators in the Great Hall of the People.
