Beijing steps up security for two sessions

China's armed police, SWAT teams and all other police units have strengthened patrol at Tian'anmen square and nearby areas to ensure the smooth running of the two sessions, the annual meetings of the National People's Congress and National Committee of the Chinese Political Consultative Conference.
