China's top legislator delivers NPC Standing Committee work report

Chinese top legislator Wu Bangguo is delivering a work report of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), at a plenary meeting of the NPC's ongoing annual session Thursday. Chinese leaders Hu Jintao, Wen Jiabao, Jia Qinglin, Li Changchun, Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, He Guoqiang and Zhou Yongkang attended the meeting with nearly 3,000 legislators in the Great Hall of the People in downtown Beijing.
