COORDINATION IN INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS
"The coordination and cooperation in international affairs serve another important factor which brought great contribution to the accelerated development of Sino-French relations," Kong said.
Kong regarded France as a western country with global vision and independent stance on major international issues, which shares many common interests and often holds similar positions with China.
The two countries can further strengthen cooperation in meeting the challenge of the global financial crisis, combating climate change and maintaining international nuclear non-proliferation regime, Kong said.
As "standing members of the UN Security Council and advocates of peace, equality and justice," China and France, facing complicated international situations and increasing global challenges, can produce positive contributions to international stability and peace via coordination and cooperation, said the ambassador.
