General Office

It is the NPC Standing Committee’s comprehensive administrative body under the direction o f the secretary-general. Under its auspice are the Bureau of Secretaries, the Research Office, the Liaison Bureau, the Foreign Affairs Bureau, the Information Bureau, the Bureau for Reception of Letters and Visits, the Personnel Bureau, the Retiree Affairs Bureau, the Administrative Bureau of Departmental Affairs, the Party Committee of the NPC Departments, the Administrative Bureau for the Great Hall of the People, the Service Center of the NPC, the Training Center, the Information Center, the Conference Center, the Association of Theoretical Research on the System of the People ’ s Congress, the library and a magazine.
