At its 19th Meeting, the Standing Committee of the Tenth National People’s Congress made the following decision:
The Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Agricultural Tax, adopted at the 96th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the First National People’s Congress on June 3, 1958, shall be annulled as of January 1, 2006.
