The Third Session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) will hold its second plenary session at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Great Hall of the People (GHP).
Accredited journalists wishing to cover the event shall access the GHP via the first gate in the south of the East Entrance 90 minutes in advance for security check.
Journalists with the number 2 on their press cards shall have access to the second floor and be seated in section 3, 5 and 7. Likewise, those with the number 3 on their press card shall have access to the third floor and take seats in section 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9.
Please note that live coverage on all floors should end 5 minutes before the start of the meeting. All journalists are required to keep quiet throughout the meeting.
Foreign press officers in China and press officers from Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions can access the GHP via the same gate as journalists and take seats in the press section on the second floor.
Before and after the session, journalists may conduct coverage and interviews under the steps outside the East Entrance (except on the road to the west of Tian’anmen Square and on the steps) and outside the Great Auditorium of the GHP. These activities should be stopped 15 minutes before the start of the meeting so as not to affect the entry and exit of the deputies.
Press vehicles please enter the designated parking lot from the southeast entrance of Tian'anmen Square.
