Sang Guowei, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) of China, said China is willing to further inter-parliamentary exchanges with Moldova and enhance the two countries' political trust.
Sang applauded Moldova's achievement in building an independent, stable and prosperous country.
He said the sound bilateral relations have brought real benefits to both countries and their people and hoped that bilateral pragmatic cooperation would be further lifted.
Filat appreciated China's long-term selfless assistance to Moldova and reiterated that his country supports China's stances on issues related to Taiwan and Tibet. He also hoped to expand bilateral cooperation in all fields to benefit the people in both countries.
