A press conference will be held by the General Office of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC) in Taiwan Hall of the Great Hall of the People at 16:00 February 26, 2010 (Friday).
Journalists from China and abroad are all welcome.
The 13rd session of the 11th NPC Standing Committee from February 24 to 26, 2010 will review the draft law on national defense mobilization. The NPC Law Committee suggests the draft be approved through voting by this session. After the session, officials from the Legislative Affairs Commission of the NPC Standing Committee and from the National Defense Mobilization Commission will answer questions from the press over the law approved by the session.
There will be no interpretation service for the press conference. Please raise questions in Chinese.
Journalists interested in the press conference may obtain invitation letters and parking permits from the Information Bureau of the General Office of the NPC Standing Committee (23 Xijiaominxiang, Xicheng District) by showing one’s own valid identification for interviewing. The deadline is 17:00 February 25.
Please show invitation letters to enter the North Gate of the Great Hall of the People for the press conference, and with the parking permits, park cars in the parking lot at the North Gate.
