BEIJING, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- China's top legislator Li Zhanshu Friday met with Matrai Marta, first officer of the Hungarian National Assembly.
Li, chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), said China-Hungary relationship has been at the best in history since it was upgraded into a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2017.
Saying China and Hungary are each other's important cooperation partners in terms of trade and the building of the Belt and Road, Li said the NPC will continue to cooperate with the Hungarian National Assembly at various levels and play a stronger role in bilateral ties.
Matrai Marta said the Hungarian National Assembly looks forward to more exchanges with the NPC to help enhance the two countries' cooperation in various fields.
